Statement Regarding Member Solicitation

WE DO NOT SOLICIT OUR MEMBERSHIP FOR DONATIONS...

Gilda's Club Desert Cities promotes wellness as a free psychosocial cancer support community where men, women and children living with cancer, and their family and friends, come together for emotional and social support as a necessary supplement to medical care.

Membership in Gilda's Club is free of charge to people living with cancer, their family members and friends.  Gilda's Club is a not-for-profit wellness organization supported by donations from individuals, corporations and foundations.  In order to sustain our unique program, Gilda's Club Board members, staff and volunteers work hard to build a financial foundation that allows us to offer our free program to members.  In keeping with our philosophy Gilda's Club does not solicit our membership for donations, although if interested, we welcome member participation.  If you, or someone you know, would like to be kept informed about Gilda's Club special events, donation opportunities or would like to discuss other ways to support us, please contact Paula Kennedy, Executive Director, (760) 770-5678, or visit our Donations and Events pages on this website.
