The work of Gilda’s Club Desert Cities is made possible by generous contributions from individuals like you, as well as sponsorships and grants from corporations and foundations. Unrestricted gifts for our general operations offer the greatest flexibility in carrying out our mission: to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community. Every gift is important, and there are many easy ways to donate.

Tribute and Memorial Gifts:
You can use any method to make a gift as a tribute in honor of a special person or occasion, or in someone's memory. Both our downloadable donation form and our website will provide you with this opportunity. Gilda’s Club Desert Cities will acknowledge your contribution and will notify the honoree or family that a tribute or memorial gift has been made.

At Work:

• Workplace Giving: Many companies have giving programs (e.g. United Way) that make donating easy. Please check with your company for information.
• Matching Gifts: You can increase your donation with employer matching funds. Please check with your company for information.

Gifts of Stock:
Gifts of stock can be a preferred method for some individuals to make a charitable contribution. The Cancer Support Community will provide the information for transferring stock to our account. Please call 1-760-770-5678.

Cars and Other Vehicles:
Thinking about selling your car, boat, motorcycle, truck, or other vehicle? You can donate it to Gilda’s Club Desert Cities instead! All you need is a clear title, and our vehicle donation program will take care of the rest, including pick-up, at no cost to you. Once your vehicle has been sold, you'll be sent a receipt for your tax records, and the sale proceeds will be donated to the Cancer Support Community in your name.

Bequests:

Many individuals leave a generous legacy by designating a charity as a beneficiary in their will. Your attorney or tax adviser can provide guidance. If you would like to speak with us about naming Gilda’s Club Desert Cities as a beneficiary, please call us at 1-760-770-5678
