A Letter from the President/CEO:
Dear Friends of Gilda’s Club,
The hustle and bustle of the “season” has finally come to an end! Many of you are leaving the Desert heat seeking cooler weather while visiting family and friends across the country. We wish you safe travels.
Unfortunately, Cancer has no season! It is present whether or not the sand blows or the temperatures rise and remains a very serious and sometimes emotionally debilitating part of everyday life with families it has struck.
The Coachella Valley has Gilda’s Club to rely upon as a safe haven and welcoming community where the Red Doors are always open. Gilda’s continues to provide its extraordinary free emotional support programs to over 1,700 men, women, children and teens living with cancer from morning to night ...because Cancer never sleeps!
The simple fact remains that Gilda’s Club still needs to fund these lifesaving programs during these summer months, and we are asking for your help. Our staff and mental health professionals are here waiting to greet each member to be certain that they do not have a lapse in support and will not face cancer alone!
Won’t you help? A gift of $25, $50, $100 or more will help sustain our life-changing services for our community and would be greatly appreciated. You can make your gift today by clicking here.
Cancer is a challenge every day, please help us make at least one day a little better in the lives of someone living with cancer.
With a grateful heart for your past support,
Paula Kennedy, President/CEO
How much does it take to provide our programs through the summer months?
